About the Author
M. E. (Betsy) Harrigan worked for the National Security Agency for twenty-seven years in a variety of positions, including Somali linguist, technical editor, missile systems analyst, and manager of ELINT engineers and projects. She is a recipient of NSA’s highest “Master” level award for her work in the Intelligence Analysis field.
At the time of her retirement, she was the Technical Director of the Defense Special Missile and Astronautics Center (DEFSMAC), a joint NSA/DIA organization and one of the most vital and proficient providers of intelligence information at the NSA complex.
Harrigan is a graduate of Gettysburg College. She lives near Tucson, Arizona, with her husband and two German shorthaired pointers.
